Last year, Ability To…Give Back raised $5,915 for No Barriers USA’s Soldiers to Summits training program.  This June I had the privilege to hike Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s tallest peak, with four of these soldiers and watch them experience their own life-changing moments.  Being a part of No Barriers’ mission in action was life-changing and continues to be a driving force in my own mission to contribute to our community in meaningful ways. So we’re excited to be partnering with No Barriers again for the Ability To…Give Back 2012 campaign.

It’s my lifetime goal to hike Colorado’s 54 “14ers” and this August, I’ll attempt to summit five peaks in four days – El Diente Peak, Mt Sneffles, Uncompahgre Peak, Wetterhorn Peak and Sunshine Peak.  My goal is to raise $6,500 by August 31 to support No Barriers programs.  With your contribution people of all ages will discover that what’s within them is stronger than what’s in their way.
