INTERACTIVE CLINICS

All clinics are designed for learning, experience and fun!

Four sessions of Interactive Clinics are scheduled:

Session A – Friday, June 29 - 1:15 pm
Session B – Saturday, June 30 - 2:30 pm
Session C – Sunday, July 1 - 8:00 am
Session D – Sunday, July 1 - 1:00 pm

· Several clinics can accommodate only a limited number of people.

Participation will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis, and waiting lists will be maintained.

· Each clinic has its own requirements and restrictions.

The clinic leader has the right to qualify participants.

· All Clinics will start promptly in the Interactive Clinic Park, a short 150 yard distance from the Conference Center.

Registrants with disabilities will have priority
at all FESTIVAL activities and events.
Their requisite companions will be allowed to accompany and aid them.

The number of Registrants will be limited.

Clinic arrangements are subject to change,
due to weather conditions and other circumstances.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday at the Interactive Clinics tent.

· To sign-up for Interactive Clinics, you must be registered for FESTIVAL 2007, have submitted a signed FESTIVAL Release form and show your official FESTIVAL name badge.

· To expedite the sign-up process: review the descriptions of the Interactive Clinics, including the criteria, and mark your choices on the Worksheet. Print out, complete and bring the necessary additional signed waiver and medical form(s) with you to the sign-up stations.

Descriptions of Interactive Clinics
January 22, 2007

Kayaking

Learn basic kayaking skills, and paddle two- or three-person kayaks on Donner Lake. Learn about and try simple adaptive techniques and equipment modifications including supportive seating and padding, paddle mounts for one armed paddling, foot pedal drive kayaks, outriggers, aids for people with visual impairments and more. No experience is necessary for this exciting session.

Rock Climbing

An introduction to rock climbing will teach movement, anchoring and rope handling skills with a perspective toward safety. Trained instructors and certified guides sincerely care about your level of enjoyment and the building of your confidence. You will leave the clinic with a strong respect for the rock climbing environment and its camaraderie. A unique experience!

Activities in the Interactive Clinics Park

The Interactive Clinics Park is a short distance from the FESTIVAL Conference Center.

NO BARRIERS FESTIVAL registrants are free to move from one activity to the next on the afternoons of Friday June 29, Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1.
