Angie Shireman

Angie Shireman is no stranger to overcoming obstacles. Two years after undergoing a preventative double mastectomy and several reconstructive surgeries, she was diagnosed with a very rare brain disorder. In 2014, she underwent two brain surgeries to correct the disorder. Recovering from years of uncertainty and numerous surgeries threatening her free spirit, depression began to impact Angie’s life. Then, No Barriers came into her life.

In 2015, Angie participated in a No Barriers experience and her astounding transformation began; Fueled by the No Barriers way of life and the support of her No Barriers community, her fears and insecurities soon transformed to courage, vulnerability and celebration. Years of self-doubt disintegrated and what remains is a woman who believes that magic can happen when you let yourself be seen for who you really are. In September of 2016, Angie, along with a group of women and No Barriers Alum, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, a feat that she never dreamed would have been possible before living a No Barriers Life.

Angie is a jewelry artisan, small business owner, certified yoga instructor, wife, mom and a lover of adventure. Angie’s business, Good Vibe Tribe Jewelry, is where she focusses her artistic energy and creates jewelry to inspire, elevate and celebrate.
