Ashley Schwader

Director of Youth Programs, No Barriers Youth

As a self proclaimed adventurist, outdoor enthusiast, and deeply passionate professional Ashley has dedicated her life to serving others and in particular youth. Ashley is thrilled to lead the No Barriers Youth Team with 15 years of experience in education, systems change, health, and wellness programming in non profit, public, and private sectors. Previously she worked for Alliance for a Healthier Generation and Poudre School District where she supported schools and districts with the implementation of best practices to support health for staff and students and to create a connection with a whole person approach and its ability to support academic achievement. She has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelors Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University.

Ashley lives in Fort Collins on a ten acre farm with her husband, son, one dog, one cat, two goats, 36 chickens, and 5 ducks! In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, yoga, reading and time with family. Her most recent adventure is to pursue her black belt with her family and she attends weekly martial arts training! Her life motto is to always stay humble and kind.
