Although a proud native of Wisconsin, Benjamin has fallen in love with Colorado and has been a resident of Fort Collins since 2008. He grew up loving the Wisconsin wilderness and celebrating the changing of the seasons along the coast of Lake Michigan. His love for adventure and supporting others took him to Maine where he worked as a camp counselor and certified Maine wilderness trip leader.
Following his time in Maine, Benjamin continued his passion for service by volunteering in AmeriCorps NCCC and traveling the country, helping to strengthen communities and empower individuals. He joins the No Barriers team with experience in event coordinating, outdoor education, and traditional classroom teaching.
Benjamin received his Masters in Education from Belmont University in Nashville and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, studying Public Relations and Political Science.
In his free time, Benjamin loves exploring Colorado with his friends and family, broadening his love for music, and playing hockey in his local league. He is truly honored to join the No Barriers team and committed to championing the No Barriers lifestyle.
