Bill Hughes works withing Honeywell Aerospace with a focus on Defense Enterprise Performance Based Logistics Programs and Services Contract Program Portfolio Management. Bill retired from the Army as a Colonel and combat veteran after a military career that spanned more than two decades. These positions included CENTCOM Chief of Strategic Plans and Chief of Operations for the Iraq Drawdown, Afghanistan plus-ups, and logistics support of 250,000 joint forces across twenty counties. Bill served as 82nd Sustainment Brigade, Deputy Commander for the Iraq Surge combat logistics operations in support of more than 20,000 coalition forces in southern Iraq. He commanded the 407th Brigade Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division in support of 3,000 paratroopers in 2nd Brigade Combat Team with maintenance, supply, transportation, and combat health support for world-wide strategic deployment missions. Bill served as both the Chief of Operations and Executive Officer for Combined Forces Land Component Command in Kuwait and Iraq during the Operation Iraqi Freedom 1 ground invasion and campaign sustainment.
Bill holds a Masters of Science degree in Logistics Management from FIT and Masters degree in Strategic Leadership Studies from the US Army War College.
