Daniel joined No Barriers USA in 2019 after embarking on a 15 month world travel adventure and overcoming many personal fears and barriers. One day on an expedition in the Peruvian mountains, Daniel spoke with several young kids who had never seen their own great wonder: Machu Picchu — despite living within 20 miles. That’s when Daniel knew he had a calling to help individuals overcome their barriers, whether those barriers were financial, physical, or mental. Joining No Barriers USA was the perfect opportunity to make a difference!
Prior to traveling the world, Daniel has many years of experience in sales and customer service, project management, and went back to school to obtain his bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Community Health Education. While completing his degree, he realized his passion for non-profit work while interning with the American Stroke Association.
Daniel brings his passion and experience to No Barriers USA and focuses on leading individual giving efforts. He looks forward to growing the current community of passionate donors so that No Barriers USA can have an even larger impact.
Daniel and his wife Bre are excited to make Fort Collins their new home. In his free time he enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking, biking, camping, and cross-country skiing. A little unknown fact: Daniel is a licensed tuk-tuk driver in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. In 2018, he traversed the majority of the country in a rented tuk-tuk, occasionally giving local children lifts to school.
