Dr. Vidor Friedman


Dr Friedman, a Past-President of American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), has been a student, and teacher, of mindfulness for over a decade. He has presented at both the ACEP annual meeting, and BalanceED on numerous topics; including Meditation, Hypnosis, and Mindfulness.He has a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Syndromes.

He was elected President of ACEP in October of 2018. He was elected to the Board of Directors of ACEP the in 2012, and again in 2015. He has served as Chair of the Emergency Medicine Foundation & is a Past-President of the Florida College of Emergency physicians (FCEP).

He served on the Board of Governors of Emergency Medicine Action Fund 2011-2020

He is a past Chair of the Federal Governmental Affairs committee of American College of Emergency Physicians, and has served as a trustee of the National Emergency Medicine Political Action committee for over 5 years.

Dr Friedman retired from clinical practice in 2020 and now resides with his wife Allyson in Silverthorne, CO.

He is an avid skier and enjoys hiking, biking and living in the mountains
