Edward “Ed” Medina had the opportunity to serve in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Armament Specialist and Health Services Management Professional. He deployed multiple times in support of US operations, including to Okinawa and Iraq. Ed separated from service in 2009.
Now a days. Ed and his family live in a small town in Wyoming. Through this expedition, Ed hopes to regain the camaraderie and feeling of belonging to a group. He looks forward to the opportunity to accept this new challenge and overcome any obstacles presented. The ability to adapt to new situations and demands was a large part of his Air Force career and seems to be missing now. He views this expedition as an excellent opportunity to fill this void and to find and make new friends.
