Jason Miller served in the US Army as a driver. He deployed to Iraq, where he provided convoy security for new troops going into the country from Kuwait.
In his past, Jason enjoyed camping, trail riding, and spending time with his family. His mother nominated him for this expedition through a joint program of her local cooperative and CoBank, which is how Jason was first exposed to No Barriers. Since learning about the program, he has gained interest in participating as a way to help him get back into doing the things that he loved. Before he deployed to Iraq, he used to enjoy things that he now finds overwhelming. Jason believes that through this expedition, and through his communion with his fellow veterans, he will be able to regain the teamwork and sense of passion.
