Juan Roman served 22 years in the US Army as a Medical Specialist, Observer Controller Trainer, and as a Logistics Specialist. He retired in March 2014. His overseas tours include Germany, South Korea, Haiti.
In his civilian life, Juan is a proud father and enjoys cycling, surfing, and hiking. He currently lives in Puerto Rico and volunteers his time with the Wounded Warrior Project. He is currently in college studying graphic design.
Juan hopes to get together with other veterans that enjoy the outdoors and to help others that have experienced many of the same challenges. He has found that being among other veterans is when he feels most comfortable. Participating and interacting in various physical activities has been his best therapy and he looks forward to sharing that with his brothers and sisters in arms.
