Marketing, Sales, Recruitment Director

We are seeking a full-time Marketing, Sales, Recruitment Director to join the No Barriers Team.

No Barriers is looking for an energetic and creative leader with proven success in driving sales and engagement to increase participation in our programs and events and help drive deeper engagement across the organization via effective digital and traditional marketing strategies. About the Position

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher + 2 or more years professional work experience 
  • 15+ years experience proven success in digital and traditional marketing, sales, outreach and/or recruitment. Experience in selling large-scale programs or events is ideal.
  • Minimum 5 years managerial experience
  • Experience driving marketing and recruitment efforts resulting in successful attendance at large community and organizational events is a plus.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the populations served by No Barriers (e.g. youth, veterans, people with disabilities, caregiver).
  • Familiarity with non-profit operations and best practices.
  • Expertise with common CRMs such as SalesForce and Hubspot and knowledge of how to align strategy that maximizes the use of these tools

*A familiarity with a CRM software is highly desired (specifically SalesForce.) If you have no experience with a CRM, a demonstrable ability to quickly learn new programs is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to measure and analyze current marketing and sales approaches, bring new and creative ideas to the table, research competitors, and ultimately develop and execute a comprehensive marketing, sales and recruitment plan, both short and long range, with direct responsibility for enrollment and revenue objectives of organization.
  • Execution, Tracking, and Analysis: Plan and oversee all marketing, sales, advertising and promotion activities including digital and traditional marketing. Measure and analyze all results and adjust strategies as needed for increased success.
  • Partnership Building: Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners to help achieve sales and marketing objectives.
  • Team Management: Work across the organization with both internal and external partners and lead the team to develop and execute strategies that support programming and development efforts to effectively achieve organizational goals.
  • Supervisory Duties: Supervise all Department staff, interns, volunteers or fellows and build a team that engages across the organization. Take ownership of organizational goals and build a nimble and adaptive department team. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
